Jeff Baird
JEFF BAIRD - First Year Assistant

Jeff started working with dogs in 2013, training and competing in sport scent detection, tracking and agility. In 2019, he became involved in search and rescue. He is a member of Middle Creek Search and Rescue where he is a K9 Handler (trailing) with his Labrador Retriever, Koru. He also serves as 2nd Assistant Chief and was previously a K9 Lieutenant. He is an assistant instructor with International Bloodhound Training Institute, an AKC Evaluator, and a Lost Person Behaviors Instructor. He is studying Ethology and Canine Behavior through the Ethology Institute of Cambridge, CACE Program. He enjoys helping others with their dogs and believes there is much to be gained by watching other handler’s dogs work as much as possible. In his spare time, he owns and operates a foreign car repair shop in Reading, PA.
